sndflo (“Sound Flow”, “we”, “us”) is a sleep-sound app operated by Cloud Development Group LLC. Questions? Email drew@sndflo.com.
The short version: the app collects nothing. There is no account, no sign-in, and no analytics or advertising in the app. All audio is stored on your device and your saved mixes never leave it. This website uses basic analytics; the app does not.
The app collects no personal data
- No account, no sign-in. sndflo has no registration, no login and no user profiles. Nothing identifies you to us.
- No analytics or advertising in the app. There are no analytics SDKs, no advertising SDKs and no third-party trackers in the iOS or Android app.
- Your saved mixes stay on your device. They are stored in the app’s local storage and are never uploaded. Deleting the app deletes them.
- The audio is on your device. The sound library and bedtime stories ship inside the app and play without a network connection.
The one request the app makes
On launch the app fetches a public list of additional bedtime stories from
sndflo.com. It is a plain file, the same for everyone. No
personal data, identifier or cookie is sent, and if the request fails the app
simply shows the stories already installed.
As with any request to any website, our hosting provider (Amazon Web Services) records standard server logs for that request — IP address, time and user-agent — used for security and reliability and not linked to any person.
Purchases
The one-time unlock is sold and processed by Apple on iOS and Google on Android. We never see or store your payment details. Your purchase is recorded by the app store against your Apple Account or Google Account, and the app asks the store whether the unlock is owned — we hold no purchase records of our own.
This website
sndflo.com uses Google Analytics to understand general traffic, which may set cookies or similar identifiers. This applies to the website only — the analytics tag is deliberately not loaded in the app. AWS also records standard request logs as described above.
If you email us
If you write to us — for example through sndflo.com/features to suggest a feature or report a problem — we will have your email address and whatever you tell us, for as long as we keep the correspondence. We use it to reply to you and nothing else.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell personal information, we do not share it with advertisers, and there are no advertisers.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR and the CCPA/CPRA) you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal information. Because the app collects none, there is generally nothing for us to return or delete — but if you have emailed us and want that correspondence deleted, email drew@sndflo.com and we will remove it. You can limit website analytics through your browser settings.
Children
sndflo is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Security
Traffic is encrypted in transit. The strongest protection here is structural: the app holds no personal data, so there is none to lose.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes we will update this page and the date above.
